ORIO
Do you want to feel like a oarsman does? You can use Arraunetxe’s state-of-the-art infrastructures and the real rowing boat of the Orio Rowing Association, among friends or with your family, to row in the Oria river. Put yourself in the hands of professionals, and live a different experience. You can breathe the enthusiasm and feeling there is for rowing in the town itself. Soak up that energy and go rowing in Orio.
In addition to being an incomparable natural resource, the Oria estuary is full of history and episodes. Small boat navigation is possible as from Aginaga, and with the help of the tide it’s easy to travel the five kilometers that separate you from the town centre. The valuable lanscape and environment can be discovered with your family or among friends, taking a short stop off for lunch.

The cheeses from Aia are the result of a job well-done by the shepherds and the distinctive milk of the sheep that graze in the fields blown over by the gentle sea breeze. The cheese is handmade, in this idyllic setting, and you can discover it throught the guided tours offered by the cheese factories.
